Football Game Preview: Dunedin Falcons vs. Gibbs Gladiators

The Dunedin Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gibbs Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Dunedin nor Gibbs posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Dunedin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They managed a 6-0 victory over Tarpon Springs. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three matches in a row.

Dunedin's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged six passes before it was all said and done. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Jaeylah Brown and Erionna Henry, who each picked up two interceptions apiece. Myleigh Ogelsby got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Gibbs came up short against Boca Ciega on Tuesday and fell 20-12.

Gibbs' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Dunedin, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
