Morrison waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pecatonica Indians  a   15-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six  runs or more this season.
 Bella Duncan was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played.  Madi Armitage was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs.
 Morrison  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .606. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Morrison's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Pecatonica,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-21.
 Morrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pecatonica, they will challenge South Beloit at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sobos have averaged an impressive 8.2  runs per game this season.
