Baseball Recap: Miramonte Matadors vs. Concord Bears
Miramonte had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 6-15 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Concord Bears as they made off with a 10-4 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Preston Rguem was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Yung, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Miramonte was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
As for Concord, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured ten losses in a row.
On Concord's side, Jimmy Rosas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Miramonte will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
