Sidney took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Park Rangers 59-7. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-7.
Sidney got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gradin Sukut out in front who threw for 180 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards on only six carries. Aaron Schmitz was another key back, rushing for 97 yards and three scores.
Sidney wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 34-6 defeat against Laurel on the 5th. As for Park, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-0 loss against Dawson County on the 5th.
