McMinn Central came tearing into Friday's matchup with 20 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Polk County Wildcats to the tune of 83-26. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-35 back in January.

McMinn Central pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points over those games. As for Polk County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
