Basketball Recap: Oxon Hill Extends Home Winning Streak to 15

Oxon Hill came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 87-17 victory over the Crossland Cavaliers. The Clippers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 39 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Crossland saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zaida Birruete posted seven points.

The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.3 points per game. As for Crossland, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.
