Houston Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Andalusia Bulldogs on Monday as they made off with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Houston Academy's victory was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Andalusia, their loss dropped their record down to 30-9.

Houston Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against St. Paul's Episcopal on the 5th. As for Andalusia, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Headland on the 6th.
