Volleyball Recap: Compton Takes a Loss

Compton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Woodrow Wilson Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-4, 25-12.

Compton now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Woodrow Wilson, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Compton will take on rival Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodrow Wilson is set to square off against their familiar foe Cabrillo at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
