            Basketball Recap: Holy Spirit Prep Cougars vs. Creekside Christian Academy Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            Holy Spirit Prep was the  74-14 winner over Creekside Christian Academy when they last played one another  back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Holy Spirit Prep Cougars were  outmatched by the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars and fell  62-9. While losing is never fun, Holy Spirit Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 493rd, while Creekside Christian Academy is ranked 110th).
  Kyra Ware was  her usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 14 points and ten  steals for Creekside Christian Academy. Ware is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 24 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Laila Placide, who  went 5 for 10  on her way to 11  points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals.
Holy Spirit Prep dropped their record down to 2-7 with the  defeat, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Creekside Christian Academy, the  victory was  the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.
 Holy Spirit Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  53-20  loss against Furtah Prep on the 16th. Creekside Christian Academy has also  already played their next contest,  a  64-34  win against Paideia on the 16th.
