Basketball Game Preview: Athens Bible Trojans vs. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions

Athens Bible is 1-9 against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Athens Bible Trojans will get right back to it and host the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions at 6:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Athens Bible came up short against Elkmont and fell 52-42. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lane Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 73-29 loss at the hands of Hackleburg. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Panthers are ranked 203rd).

Athens Bible now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-21.

Athens Bible took their win against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy in their previous matchup on January 3rd by a conclusive 51-29. Will Athens Bible repeat their success, or does Lindsay Lane Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
