Colton waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Rosalia Spartans as they made off with a 23-6 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Colton got a massive performance out of Leah Musson, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three hits gave Musson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Nollmeyer, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Colton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 24 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
