Ashlyn Davis was dynamite on Saturday, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than two walks. For the season, she has an ERA of 2.80 over 15 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Davis and Tri-Valley will take on John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-Valley hasn't beaten John Glenn recently, having gone 0-9 since April of 2021.
