Basketball Recap: Merritt Island Wins Going Away Against Trinity Prep

Merritt Island can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 59-52 win over the Trinity Prep Saints. That seven point margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Several Saints players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Stillman, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Stillman has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. David Hull was another key player, going 7 for 14 on his way to 22 points and four steals.

As for Trinity Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-61 loss against East River on the 4th.
