Baseball Recap: Woodstock Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Woodstock Academy extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-8 in the process. They came out on top against the Stonington Bears by a score of 7-3. That's two games straight that the Centaurs have won by exactly four runs.

Logan Coutu was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Nason, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

As for Stonington, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-5. The game marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

On Stonington's side, Jace Wolfradt was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Woodstock Academy will host Killingly at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stonington, they are taking a road trip to square off against Westerly at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
