Baseball Recap: Collegiate Takes a Loss

Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Fieldston Eagles. The matchup marked the Dutchmen's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Collegiate saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Deblasi, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Collegiate now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Fieldston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Collegiate will take on rival Horace Mann at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fieldston is set to square off against their familiar foe Dalton at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
