Brenden Brawley and Josh Beaird provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Nazarene Christian Academy. The longest such play in TCAL Division II - District 1 (6 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 66 yards.
Stephenville FAITH was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Weatherford Express HomeSchool 56-6. Stephenville FAITH came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Cameron Fields and Jose Rodriguez gave Paradigm a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Fields threw for 66 yards and 33 touchdowns, while Rodriguez ran for 229 yards. Teammate Matthew Lopez added to the ground attack by rushing for 51 yards.
Jonathan Delzeit was the best wideout in the league this week as Cornerstone Christian Academy fell to the Lions. Delzeit racked up four receptions for 160 yards. Forest Copenhaven helped Cornerstone Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching five balls for 135 yards.
Brawley provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Cornerstone Christian Academy lost to Nazarene Christian Academy. He completed 12 passes for 392 yards and six touchdowns and also ran for 65 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Brawley of Cornerstone Christian Academy is the league leader in passing yards this season with 639. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. On the ground, Cody Martin's team's Jared Veldhuizen has rushed for 581 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Justin Baugh. The Stephenville FAITH star has 11 catches for 331 yards.
Stephenville FAITH extended the longest winning streak in TCAL Division II - District 1 (6 Man) this week by beating Weatherford Express HomeSchool, 56-6. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
