Basketball Recap: Clear Lake Skates Past Northwood with Ease

Clear Lake entered their tilt with Northwood on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Northwood Evergreens 56-27. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Evergreens are ranked 340th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clear Lake's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Northwood, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clear Lake beat Northwood by a score of 56-27 on Friday.
