Bismarck had won five straight games and Grace Efird did her part to make it six on Thursday. The Lions came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-51 W against the Arkadelphia Badgers with plenty of help from Efird, who went 9-for-16 on her way to 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bismarck's points.

Another player making a difference was Cailsey Ellenwood, who shot 56% from the field en route to 14 points and eight rebounds. She also put up a block, which was her first of the season.

Bismarck's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Arkadelphia, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Bismarck wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-24 win against Kirby on the 9th. Arkadelphia has also already played their next matchup (against Malvern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
