Basketball Recap: Tulia Skates Past San Jacinto Christian Academy with Ease

On Friday, the Tulia Hornets humbled the San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots with a 60-26 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 30 points or more this season.

Zaiden Jalomo was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine assists. That's the most points he has posted since back in November. Julius Johnson was another key player, putting up ten points along with seven assists and three steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Tulia was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in five consecutive contests.

Tulia's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for San Jacinto Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Tulia and Dimmitt will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for San Jacinto Christian Academy, they will take on Hart at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th.
