Basketball Recap: Nottingham's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After a string of three wins, Nottingham's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Henninger Black Knights. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Black Knights are ranked 290th).

Nottingham's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Henninger, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nottingham will challenge Oswego at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henninger, they will venture away from home to square off against Syracuse Academy of Science at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
