Basketball Recap: American Falls Wins Going Away Against Bear Lake

American Falls was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bear Lake on Wednesday. The American Falls Beavers blew past the Bear Lake Bears 59-35. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 56-27 victory last Wednesday.

Tate Ewing and Kasen Warner certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Ewing went 5-for-8 to rack up 10 points, while Warner posted seven points and seven rebounds. Ewing is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 63% in the last three games he's played.

American Falls has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Bear Lake's defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-18.

American Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-37 loss against Snake River on the 21st. Bear Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
