Basketball Game Preview: Morgan Park Mustangs vs. Lindblom Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Morgan Park Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Lindblom Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Morgan Park turned things around against Hancock on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 57-22.

Meanwhile, Lindblom got the win against Lincoln Park on Friday by a conclusive 62-41. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Lindblom is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Morgan Park, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Morgan Park didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Lindblom when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 56-51 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morgan Park since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
