Basketball Recap: Berea Find Success

The third road match was the charm for Berea, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past the Lee County Bobcats with a 33-29 win on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Berea's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berea will be home for the holidays to greet Garrard County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Garrard County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Berea likes a good challenge. As for Lee County, they will welcome Owsley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
