Basketball Recap: Liberal Triumphs

Liberal's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 50-45 win over the Jasper Eagles. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

The win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Jasper, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Liberal is set to square off against their familiar foe Appleton City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jasper will face off against rival Rich Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
