Softball Recap: High Point Comes Up Short

If High Point was feeling good fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Lenape Valley on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Roxbury Gaels by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Wildcats were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Gaels' pitcher proved too tough.
