Volleyball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss

Frankfort lost against Glen Lake back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Lakers.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Glen Lake scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Ella Sweeney paced Frankfort's offense, picking up six kills. Sweeney got some help from Alice Luther and her ten assists. Ava Sweeney controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Frankfort's loss dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Glen Lake, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-9-1 record.

Frankfort wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against St. Francis on the 20th. As for Glen Lake, they will face off against Suttons Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
