Basketball Recap: Tri-Point Chargers vs. Iroquois West Raiders
Tri-Point hadn't done well against Iroquois West recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Chargers put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 59-35 victory. The Chargers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 21, 2024 (when they won 62-36).
Aiden Pelehowski had a dynamite game, putting up 31 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Hummel, who posted eight points along with eight assists and three steals.
Tri-Point was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Iroquois West only posted three.
Despite the defeat, Iroquois West had strong showings from Landen Kraft, who had seven points, and Wyatt Breen, who put up six points.
