Recap: Jacksonville Cardinals vs. South Central Falcons
The Jacksonville Cardinals won the last time they faced the South Central Falcons, and things went their way on Friday too. Jacksonville blew past South Central 42-14 at home. The result was nothing new for Jacksonville, who have now won four games by 23 points or more so far this season.
Jacksonville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Demon June, who rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns. June is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played. Jaquial Bagley got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Jacksonville's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.6 points per game. As for South Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jacksonville will face off against Northside - Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside - Jacksonville has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th. As for South Central, they will head out on the road to face off against D.H. Conley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. D.H. Conley is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
