Baseball Recap: Lee County Bobcats vs. Wolfe County Wolves
Lee County extended their losing streak to nine on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 5-16 in the process. They lost 9-0 to the Wolfe County Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.
As for Wolfe County, their record is now 19-10. Considering they have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
For Wolfe County's part, Chance Fallen and Camden Oliver were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Fallen tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Oliver pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fallen has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.
