Trinity Christian won the last time they faced Christ Chapel Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trinity Christian Gryphons came out on top against Christ Chapel Academy by a score of 52-41. The win was familiar territory for the Gryphons who have now won six contests in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Christ Chapel Academy lost, don't look at Zaria Gaskins. Despite the final result, she went 11 for 23 on her way to 24 points and five steals. That was a full 58.5% of Christ Chapel Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Dasia Smith was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Trinity Christian pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Christ Chapel Academy, they moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
