Basketball Recap: Long Trail Comes Up Short

Long Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 65-49 to the Mill River Minutemen. Long Trail was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Mill River earlier this season, when they won 56-45.

Long Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mill River, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Long Trail will challenge Proctor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mill River, they will square off against West Rutland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Rutland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches.
