Basketball Recap: Council Takes a Loss

Council was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Grundy Golden Wave, falling 70-27. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-36 last Monday.

Council's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Grundy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Council nor Grundy have any future games scheduled.
