Baseball Recap: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Torrey Pines Falcons
Sage Creek extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 5-16. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Torrey Pines Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-3 defeat on Wednesday.
Sage Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Foster Rovin, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
As for Torrey Pines, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games.
