Softball Game Preview: Chincoteague Ponies vs. Snow Hill Eagles

The Chincoteague Ponies will face off against the Snow Hill Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Chincoteague fell victim to Broadwater Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Vikings. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Ponies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Snow Hill got the win against Wicomico on Thursday by a conclusive 17-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Snow Hill's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Chincoteague, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything went Chincoteague's way against Snow Hill when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Chincoteague made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Ponies repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
