Jayden Newton Game Report: vs Jenkins

On Tuesday Jayden Newton posted six points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds, good enough to set a new career-high in assists in the process. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was also his third in a row with two or more steals. On the season, he has averaged 17.1 points, 1.7 steals, and 2.2 assists.

Newton and Beach will challenge Brunswick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Newton hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 17.1 per game this season), but he'll have his work cut out for him against a dominant the Pirates defense that's only given up 35.2 points per game.
