Volleyball Recap: DSST: Conservatory Green Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact DSST: Conservatory Green can now relate to. They came up short against the KIPP Denver Collegiate White Tigers on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the White Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Ibrahim Guder paced DSST: Conservatory Green's offense, picking up 15 kills. Guder got some help from Miqueas Amador and his 25 assists. Finally, Reegan Brooks kept DSST: Conservatory Green's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

DSST: Conservatory Green's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for KIPP Denver Collegiate, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Coincidentally, DSST: Conservatory Green and KIPP Denver Collegiate will both be playing D'Evelyn the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Jaguars at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the White Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
