Basketball Game Preview: Madison County Red Raiders vs. Cedar Shoals Jaguars

The Madison County Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Cedar Shoals Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Madison County came up short against Walnut Grove and fell 51-38.

Meanwhile, Cedar Shoals was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 55-40 fall against Walnut Grove.

Cedar Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Madison County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Madison County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cedar Shoals in their previous matchup on January 7th, but they still walked away with a 43-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
