Preview: Little Wound vs. Custer
On Friday, Custer are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Little Wound at 6:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Everything went Custer's way against Newcastle last Friday as they made off with a 35-6 win.
Meanwhile, Little Wound had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Little Wound weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 12-18 to Bennett County last week.
Custer's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Little Wound's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Custer can add another positive mark to their record or if Little Wound can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Custer's step.
