Basketball Game Preview: Nettleton Raiders vs. Greene County Tech Golden Eagles

The Nettleton Raiders will face off against the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nettleton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.

Nettleton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arkansas' top teams: Marion, who was ranked 12th at the time (Nettleton was ranked fifth). Nettleton secured a 65-61 W over Marion on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Greene County Tech was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Searcy 74-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

Nettleton pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Greene County Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Nettleton was able to grind out a solid win over Greene County Tech in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 72-60. Will Nettleton repeat their success, or does Greene County Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
