Football Preview: South Gwinnett Comets vs. Grovetown Warriors

The South Gwinnett Comets are taking a road trip to square off against the Grovetown Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Gwinnett will be strutting in after a victory while Grovetown will be coming in after a loss.

South Gwinnett is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Rockdale County at home to the tune of 59-6 on Friday. Meanwhile, Grovetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Grayson, falling 63-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

South Gwinnett's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Grovetown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
