Walton faced Monroe Campus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over Monroe Campus. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with Monroe Campus recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Walton's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Monroe Campus, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Walton will take on rival Roosevelt Educational at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Monroe Campus is set to square off against their familiar foe Bronx High School of Science at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
