Baseball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 34th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Del City Eagles, falling 17-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2017.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Del City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Marshall by a score of 9-0 later that day.
