Softball Recap: Fruitvale Comes Up Short

Fruitvale's last matchup with Alba-Golden could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Bobcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 6-0. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fruitvale's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Alba-Golden, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8-1.

Fruitvale will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Malakoff at 12:45 p.m. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Alba-Golden, they will take on Brownsboro at 11:40 a.m. on Friday.
