Softball Recap: Patton Has No Trouble Against Hendersonville

It was a proper cat-fight when Patton took on Hendersonville on Thursday. The Panthers blew past the Bearcats 12-5. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Kara Redwine was incredible, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Maines, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Patton's record is now 9-14. As for Hendersonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Patton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hendersonville, they will take on Rosman at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
