Soccer Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

Apalachee's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meadowcreek Mustangs. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Madison Mabry, which was the first she's scored this season.

Apalachee's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Meadowcreek, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apalachee will head out to face off against Loganville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Meadowcreek, they will head out on the road to square off against Norcross at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Meadowcreek their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
