Volleyball Recap: Elite Takes a Loss

Elite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Westlake Charter Explorers, falling 3-0.

Elite's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westlake Charter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Elite will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Esparto at 4:30 p.m. on the 7th. The Eagles are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Westlake Charter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Fortune Early College on the 28th.
