Baseball Recap: Bastrop Takes a Loss

Bastrop's tournament run continued when they took on Fredericksburg on Friday. The Bears came up short against the Billies, falling 9-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bastrop saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan St Clair, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Bastrop now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Fredericksburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Bastrop didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Rudder on the 6th. As for Fredericksburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Lehman on the 6th.
