            Baseball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Jaguars vs. Male Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Hilliard Bradley was handed a heart-breaking two-run  loss in their last  match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Male  on Wednesday. The Jaguars never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their two-run performance the  contest before.

 Sam Wendel tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
 On the hitting side,  Bryan Nashalsky was  excellent,  scoring three  runs while going 1-for-2.  Nathan Chittum was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
The  victory  got Hilliard Bradley back to even at 1-1. As for Male, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 7-4.
 Hilliard Bradley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  an  8-7  win against Daviess County on the 2nd. As for Male, they will square off against McLean County at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8.1  runs per game this season.
