Maddie Collins was dynamite on Tuesday, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with seven or more strikeouts. For the season, she has an ERA of 1.94 over 90 innings pitched.

Collins' effort led Norwalk over Trumbull and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
