Soccer Recap: Keller Central Comes Up Short

Keller Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southlake Carroll Dragons. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Chargers couldn't quite close it out.

Keller Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Southlake Carroll, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Byron Nelson the next time they take the pitch. Keller Central will host Byron Nelson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Southlake Carroll will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
